drove by a biker

i almost met a biker the other day -- i was driving to the grove and there was this big guy on a big bike with lime (bright) green siding and a matching helmet. and the coolest thing about him is that he had this radio system going so that he was pounding music that could be heard over his engine, which was impressive. he was playing rap and hip hop.

despite these jovial attributes, he was really unsmiling and a bit intimidating. i tried to catch his attention, but it was probably for the best that he didn't notice.

i've found an italian -- he works in my office and actually, i've seen him a lot in the past few months. i've just never talked to him. i have to confess that i haven't really talked to him all that much, but enough to know that he's got an italian accent and that he would recognize me if we were to see each other on the street.

next up -- biker. any ideas about where to find one?

does this count?

today i had lunch with an italian-german, possibly the nicest person i have ever met. he has a slight accent because, though he grew up in the states, he spent a lot of time in europe because his parents taught there. his mom lives half the time in italy and he has all the marks of someone who grew up in an italian family. he loves good food, meeting people and...he's just really fun to talk to.

so, tell me, does this count for #1?
